To Kill a Mocking Bird

In twentieth century racialism was practiced in the towns of United States. Alabama, a town which is in the south of United States, is a not an exception. This is the basic plot in the story which is based on the prize winning book of the 1960 by Harper Lee's Pulitzer. Atticus Finch is a lawyer who takes up a case for Tom Robinson, a Negro who is charged of a raping a poor white woman. Flinch walks in the path of righteousness and tries his best to save Robinson and prove that his client is not guilty. Will he be able to win the case against all the odds as the townspeople are more inclined towards racialism rather declaring justice for the Negro? The movie is described as seen through the eyes of the lawyer’s daughter scout. The movie is filled with moral values which make us feel that every human has their own feelings and should not be differentiated upon colors. It teaches lessons for life and explains the nature in which the young minds see the world as they grow up. Robert Mulligan has directed in a way to make us explain every scene and characterized every character to high degree of professionalism

The prestige

Every magic has three parts or acts namely the pledge, the turn and the prestige. The third part is hardest part of the magic and is the basic theme that the entire movie is based upon. Two young magicians, who work as apprentices to Cutter, first seem to be friends in the movie but they part and finally become rivals to each other. The movie shows high quality of competition between the two magicians, Robert Angier and Alfred Borden. As they part for their life, Alfred seems to reach the zenith of fame in a short span of time. “The transported man “is the reason for the success of Alfred Borden and Robert Angier tries all means to find out the trick which is involved in it. But all his works are in vain! Angier then finds himself the magic of “the real transported man” through the scientific brilliance as he approaches Nikola Telsa for his trick. Will he achieve the fame which his rival Borden has achieved?? The screenplay is awesome the makes the audience to have a close watch in every scene to find what really happens when the trick is performed. Starring Christian bale, Hugh jackman, Michael Caine the movie is directed by Christopher Nolan.

I am legend

I Am Legend is an action filled sci-fi movie which revolves around a lone survivor of a deadly incurable and unstoppable virus. Will smith takes up the role of the Robert Neville who is a virologist of the military camp. The movie shows a totally different New York City which is full of deer, lions and other wild animals together with the threat of a large number of infected people, instead of heavy traffic filled streets and crowded shops. Will smith is accompanied by his pet dog Sam which later gets infected with the virus. Though will smith works hard to find a solution to the deadly virus he loses his patience as he unable to accept the fact that his only companion is dead. The seen is highly emotional and will smith goes in the dark and trashes his car on “the infected “that are highly nocturnal. There he is founded by Alice barga who does the role of Anna. The movie gives a heart throbbing climax where the infected attack the only survivors of the city. Will smith gets the feel of his own son and wife, who died previously in an accident. He is desperate to save them and how he achieves the solution to fight against the virus and saves Alice is the movie ‘I Am Legend’.

Defiance

The World War II has begun and the reign of Hitler is at the zenith. The hunt of the Jews by the Germans has created dreadful scenes all around Germany. A scene of havoc and chaos is seen amongst the Jews and everyone run for lives. Directed by Edward Zwick, defiance is based on a true story of a group of Jews in Eastern Europe. The Bielski brothers run deep into the forest and find it difficult to hide out in the thick forest. Aaron bielski the first one who finds more refugees in the forest and makes them join along with his brothers. As days pass by, the camp of the refugee increases and the eldest of the Bieslski brothers, Tuvia Bielski, lead the camp. Tuvia and his siblings, Zus and Aseal, support the refugees with the thing they could but Zus feels that it is not possible to feed everyone as the number in the camp increases day by day. He leaves the camp to join the Russian army and attacks the Nazis aggressively. The thriller makes the audience sit at the seat edge every time when there is an attack on the camp. Will Zus come back and join his brothers to fight against the attacks of the Germans?? Will the Bielski Otriad survive the cold of the winter and in the scarcity of food?? Filled with human emotions and thriller, shows the world difficult it was for the Jews during the World War II.
